About Katherine Lee

I’ve been a therapist in private practice for over 10 years and am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and several other therapeutic approaches.

I deeply enjoy sitting with people, listening closely, and helping make sense of complex inner experiences.

For me, learning astrology unlocked a missing dimension in the therapeutic process, bringing new depth, insight, and excitement to my work. It has become an essential symbolic tool that aligns seamlessly with my clinical approach to the way I work as a therapist – attuned to patterns, cycles, and the ways people experience themselves and their relationships over time. When used thoughtfully and collaboratively, astrology has helped me better understand a client’s inner landscape and offer reflections and suggestions that feel resonant and grounding.

I have a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College. After living in New York City for almost twenty years where I began my private practice, I swapped the city streets for the mountains and palm trees of southern Nevada three years ago.

The sunshine and desert life bring me deep joy, and I consider myself a highly intuitive and creative individual. I’ve dabbled in many artistic pursuits including music and dance, and I am currently immersed in painting, which has become a central focus of my creative practice.
