Synastry

The tool of astrological compatibility (synastry) compares your natal chart – a map of your personality, tendences, and life patterns based on the position of the planets in the sky at the time you were born – with another person’s natal chart.

This is usually someone with whom you have an ongoing relationship, such as a spouse, romantic partner, family member, coworker/business partner, or friend.

Synastry isn’t about predicting the future or telling you what to do – it’s a tool for gaining insight into relational dynamics and understanding how each person naturally interacts and responds.

I am happy to offer synastry in a reading or as a tool in a psychotherapy session, providing a starting point for reflection and growth in the therapeutic process.

Synastry can better help you identify pattens of behavior that may feel instinctual to you but don’t necessarily align with the other person’s style.

By exploring these dynamics, synastry can provide clarity on how to shift your communication, set boundaries, and respond in ways that improve harmony and understanding.

Synastry is especially helpful for clients who feel stuck in a relationship or are navigating uncertainty about whether to deepen or end a partnership.

Synastry can also be a helpful tool in terms of dating, providing insight into dynamics with someone new.

While it does not predict the future, it can offer guidance to help you assess whether a relationship has the potential for long-term compatibility and when challenges or differences might arise.

When used as part of therapy, synastry can help uncover hidden patterns in your attractions, offering a deeper understanding of why you’re drawn to certain types of individuals, better understanding such patterns, and how to navigate dating more consciously.
